Shanghai Pudong International Airport Cargo Terminal Co., Ltd (PACTL) saw a very strong volume growth at PVG in the first half of 2017, beating the tonnage in the corresponding period of last year by 12% and setting the best records in history.

Total tonnage for the first half of 2017 was 873,573, up 12% on 2016. Strongest performance was on international imports, which were up a massive 17.1% to 353,587 tons. In the meanwhile, the international exports also showed a positive growth by 10.3% to 471,781 tons. However, only domestic declined, down 4.3% compared with same period of last year.
